Mercy and Grace on our children

Thank God I was able to experience and embrace these moments with my child. My testimony with my child. Dear child, you didn't have a good day and was rude to an adult. As I know you are a child in training. At times even adults are rude to each other and need re-direction. I spoke to you about your misbehavior, you had a chance to apologize to the adult. In our conversation you disclosed to me your misbehavior stemed from yourself thought process saying to yourself, "I am a mistake." "No one loves me." God knows I thought I am doing a good job raising you. A life lesson I learned is your mental and emotional health is just as important as discipling you. I don't know what you are thinking. I thank God you were open to me. You thought me to really stay connected with you as you are under my care. It starts now, I love how now together out loud we are learning to self love. By saying, "I am loved and I am special." We are discovering self worth now. I tell you to think and say that in your mind as often as you need to. Stay positive. I love how each morning we pray on our way to school. You pray for a cure for cancer, for people to have good days not bad days and for people to know the Lord if they already don't know him. You amaze me on the things you say. I share our story because as a Holistic Emotional Intelligence Coach I know the importance of mental and emotional health. It has to start within the sooner the better. That doesn't take away that life may come hard as you grow older. You were dealing with lies one of the life's energy chakars. There are 7 that are so important to know. I only pray that you can remember these life nuggets to apply later. Life is beautiful when we realize what we are going through and someone can help us unwind and put the puzzles together. This is my passion!
